Product Overview
The R48-2000e3 from the Vertiv eSure family converts standard AC supply into a stable, adjustable -42 to -58 VDC output, delivering a constant 2000 W with up to 42 A at -48 VDC and a 0-42 A limit set point. Its patented switch-mode design with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) provides active load sharing and high reliability in a compact 41 x 84.5 x 252.5 mm, 1.13 kg package.
The module accepts a wide 85-300 VAC input (187-264 VAC nominal, 45-65 Hz) at a maximum of 12 A with power factor above 0.99 from 50 to 100% load. Full output power is available up to +65 degC ambient at 200-250 VAC input, and the module operates down to -40 degC, allowing deployment in unconditioned telecom sites and cabinets.
Protection includes input high/low voltage protection, surge and lightning immunity, disconnection at 415 VAC, mains fuses in both lines, plus output reverse-connection and back-feed fusing, high-voltage shutdown and high-temperature protection. Alarms and status are reported via CAN bus to the Vertiv system controller. Safety is certified to EN/IEC/UL 60950-1, with EMC per EN 55022, CISPR22, ETSI EN 300 386, FCC Part 15 and Telcordia GR-1089-CORE Issue 6 Class B; the ordering part number is 1R482000E3.
