The Liebert PDX is positioned by Vertiv as the highest performing floor-mount direct expansion unit in its range, providing thermal management efficiency for data centers and server rooms. The family spans models from PI015 to PX120, with total nominal capacities from 15.8 kW (4049 CFM, 316 kg) up to 123.9 kW (27,000 CFM), in 1,970 mm-high frames 890 mm deep with widths of 840 to 2,550 mm.
PDX is available in air-cooled and water-cooled versions and supports multiple freecooling modes: Direct Air, Indirect Water, Chilled Water on Freecooling Chiller and the Liebert EconoPhase pumped refrigerant economizer. The combination of R410A refrigerant, electronic expansion valve (EEV), modulating capacity compressors and Liebert EC fans 2.0 delivers precise supply temperature control and reduced annual energy consumption, while the iCOM control operates a fresh air economizer when outdoor air is colder than the return temperature.
