Der CS1798A ist ATENs 8-Port-USB-2.0-4K-HDMI-KVM-Switch. Er treibt 4K-DCI-Video mit 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz und HDCP-2.2-Unterstützung und bewahrt die volle Bildqualität für moderne Workstations sowie 4K-Signage- oder Kontrollraum-Displays.
Wie der CS1798 kaskadiert er bis zu drei Ebenen zur Steuerung von bis zu 512 Computern und stapelt bis zu acht Geräte für Multi-Display-Installationen. Ein integrierter 2-Port-USB-2.0-Hub bedient Peripheriegeräte; das Metallgehäuse misst 43,24 x 25,72 x 4,40 cm bei 3,50 kg, ausgelegt für 0-50 °C Betrieb.
