Product Overview
The Eaton 9SX tower UPS provides robust online double-conversion power protection with zero transfer time to battery and continuous filtering of mains power. An internal automatic static bypass maintains power to critical loads even if the UPS itself faults. Compared with traditional UPS designs, the 9SX delivers up to 28 percent more wattage, allowing more devices to be connected and leaving headroom for IT expansion.
An easy-to-read LCD display gives operators access to alarm history, energy logs, serial numbers and firmware versions, enabling first-time issue resolution on site. Hot-swappable batteries allow replacement without powering down connected equipment, and Advanced Battery Management (ABM) technology increases battery service life by up to 50 percent. Line-and-match external battery packs let integrators tailor runtime to each application.
The international 9SX range documented by Eaton covers 700 VA to 6 kVA, with the 9SX3000I 3000 VA / 2700 W model as a representative SKU for the 1000-3000 VA segment requested. The platform pairs with the Eaton Gigabit Network Card – the first in its class to comply with UL and IEC cybersecurity standards – and with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager for remote monitoring. A 3-year standard factory warranty applies to current 9SX shipments.
