Liebert ITA (including the current Liebert ITA2 revision) is Vertiv’s 1–20 kVA online double-conversion UPS platform for edge data centers, network cabinets, CCTV and security rooms, medical and laboratory IT. Q: How long can a Liebert ITA UPS run on battery?
With the standard internal battery strings, plan for roughly five minutes at full load — enough to ride through short events or to shut down safely. Adding an external battery cabinet extends runtime roughly linearly with battery capacity; a 10 kVA load on a suitably sized cabinet can reach one hour or more.
