Product Overview
The Flatpack S 48V 1U system packs a complete -48 VDC power plant into a single rack unit with 262 mm depth, making it ideal for 19-inch cabinets where space is limited. The system is offered in two configurations: a 2-rectifier version (part number series CTOS0201.xxx) rated 40 A and a 3-rectifier version (CTOS0301.xxx) rated 100 A, both fed from a 100-250 VAC, 45-66 Hz single-phase supply.
Each system accommodates hot-pluggable Flatpack S 48V rectifier modules, allowing capacity to be added or replaced without interrupting the load. A built-in Smartpack S controller provides local supervision and remote management through its Ethernet interface and six programmable I/O, covering alarms, battery management and site monitoring in one compact platform.
Battery care is handled by the standard low-voltage battery disconnect (LVBD) function with dedicated battery breakers – 2 x 40 A in the 2R version and 2 x 80 A in the 3R version – protecting batteries from deep discharge. With only 5.3 kg (2R) / 5.2 kg (3R) chassis weight excluding rectifiers, the system can be deployed in wall-mount cabinets, street cabinets and small equipment rooms.
