Product Overview
Sierra 25 is a bidirectional inverter-converter that turns a 48 V DC plant (32-63 VDC window) into 230/240/277 VAC single-phase power within a 150-293 VAC range, so it can supply IT and telecom loads or feed energy back into the DC bus. CE+T markets it as the industry’s first fully bidirectional converter-inverter, letting one unit act as inverter, converter or charger as the site requires.
The unit delivers 3 kVA / 2.7 kW of continuous power with a 2.4 kW limit per output port, at 93.7% efficiency in DC/AC mode and 96% in AC/AC double-conversion mode. It operates from -40 to +65 degC in a 2U housing of about 103 x 435 mm, fitting cabinets, shelters and demanding outdoor sites.
Sierra 25 is managed through the Inview monitoring platform (SNMP/HTTP) and is modular: multiple units operate in parallel with CE+T system controllers to scale from 3 kVA up to 2 MW / 2.2 MVA for large backup and energy-storage applications.
