Product Overview
The Huawei ETP4890-A2 is an AC/DC embedded power system designed for access networks, transmission networks and enterprise communication equipment. Configured with 1U 15 A or 30 A high-efficiency rectifier modules, it delivers a rated 90 A output (4.8 kW maximum) and installs in standard 19-inch or 21-inch racks at just 2U in height.
The system accepts an extremely wide 85-300 VAC input range, including 220 VAC single-phase and 220/380 VAC three-phase supplies, and outputs adjustable 42-58 VDC with a 53.5 VDC default. Rectifiers and the SMU01A/B/C monitoring unit are fully hot-swappable, and a rectifier dormancy function raises overall system efficiency at partial load.
Natural cooling eliminates fans and associated maintenance, and the front-cabling, front-maintenance architecture suits shallow cabinets. Intelligent battery management and protection extend battery lifespan, while environmental monitoring and remote management are supported through dry contacts, serial interfaces or Ethernet. The system is rated IP20 and documented to IEC 60950-1.
