The eSFP-GE-SX-MM850 (Huawei part number 02315204) is an enhanced small form-factor pluggable (eSFP) optical module for 1.25 Gbit/s 1000BASE-SX Gigabit Ethernet links. It operates at an 850 nm center wavelength over multimode fiber with an LC/PC duplex connector and is documented by Huawei for up to 550 m on OM2 fiber and 1 km on OM3/OM4 fiber.
As an eSFP-class module it supports digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM), exposing supply voltage, module temperature, laser bias current, and transmit/receive optical power to the host in real time. Huawei documents an extended operating case temperature of -20°C to +85°C, giving extra margin for poorly conditioned equipment rooms and edge cabinets beyond the standard 0-70°C commercial range.
