Product Overview
The Eaton 9PX series is a best-in-class online double-conversion UPS platform covering 1500-3000 VA/W models in a convertible rack/tower form factor. With unity output power factor, the 9PX delivers more real power to connected IT equipment than conventional UPS of the same VA rating. The double-conversion topology continuously regulates voltage and frequency, providing zero transfer time to battery and complete isolation from mains disturbances.
Each 9PX unit integrates an internal automatic bypass for service continuity, a next-generation graphical LCD display, and a network management card supplied as standard. Advanced Battery Management (ABM) with temperature-compensated charging extends battery service life, while hot-swappable batteries and support for up to four extended battery modules allow runtime expansion without shutting down connected loads. Energy consumption can be metered down to managed outlet groups.
The 9PX3000IRTN reference model provides 3000 VA / 3000 W in only 2U, with (8) C13 and (2) C19 output receptacles, 176-276 V input without derating (100-276 V with derating) and a 40-70 Hz input frequency window. The platform is ENERGY STAR qualified and certified to IEC/EN 62040-1/-2 and UL 1778, and works with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager software for centralised monitoring of distributed IT sites.
